Live Mannequins - Kina Kouture Window

Kina Kouture is turning out to be one of my favorite store windows to view in Downtown Dunedin. A few days ago Kina Kouture featured live mannequins in their store window during Dunedin Mardi Gras 2010. While I was viewing the live models, I thought about Ralph Pucci who is known for designing lifestyle mannequins. I can see how these "Kina Kouture Mannequins" can work as inspiration for his next mannequin design. What do you think? As far as I know, the most famous inspiration for the Ralph Pucci Mannequins has been Supermodel, Christy Turlington. Till my next post, V.

Store Window: Kina Kouture Touches of Pink

Dunedin, FL: A few weeks ago, I was walking down Main Street in Dunedin, Florida and the store window at 447 Main Street, Kina Kouture caught my eye. It was the significant use of hot pink; the elements of painted pumpkins together with the eye-catching Samuel Doug black and white, rose coat that made their window make my "it-list". Even though, I suspected that the elements of pink in the window was applied due to October as Breast Cancer Awarenewss Month, Bert Halle, Kina Kouture, confirmed my take on the matter. The Allison Brittney, sweater dress on the right, pulled the whole window together. Kina Kouture, well done on a great window display. V.
