NYFW and Fashion Bloggers

I love the fact that the fashion industry has embraced fashion bloggers as accredited press. In images above Tavi Gevinson is photographed with Anna Wintour during Fashion's Night Out and the other image shows Bryan Boy during NYFW Spring 2011 at the Lincoln Center. I miss attending LA Fashion Week as a blogger but now that I'm in a new location, I know that it's only a matter of time before I attend fashion week again, Cheers to fashion bloggers around the world - We Rock!, V. Bryan Boy for Hudson Jeans

Earlier today, I saw this sofa on my Twitter page as someone following Bryan Boy. I think that I may have a thing for the Union Jack flag since my last post was about Twiggy London and how much I liked the Union Jack Tote Bag on HSN. But back to Bryan Boy, I see that he will be collaborating with Hudson Jeans during Fall Winter 2010. Bryan Boy also did a short review regarding the setting for the brand's Fall 2010 campaign shoot with Model, Georgia May Jagger, Photographer, Mario Sorrent and Stylist, Camila Nickerson which has Alder Manor as the location setting. Fashion blogging has become huge!

Within this last year, fashion blogging has exploded. In photo above, Blogger, Scott Schuman, The Sartoralist, has done some book signing as it relates to his new book. Blogger, Bryan Boy, was seated a few seats over from Vogue Editor, Anna Wintour during Paris Fashion Week. Tommy Ton, Jak & Jil Blog was assigned to the Victoria Secret's Fashion Show backstage photography for special assignment. These are just a few examples of how Bloggers have started to integrate the world of traditional accredited press. Let's see what response the Dutch denim line. G-star will receive for their "The Next Raw Reporter" request. I miss some aspects of traditional journalism but in the meantime I'll continue to embrace my growth as a Fashion Blogger.
