Hollywood Walk of Fame - Makeover!

The Hollywood Walk of Fame will be undergoing a major $4.2 million makeover that is set for 2010. Known around the world as a place where dreams are created, fulfilled and destroyed, the most notable street in Hollywood will continue to pull in people for years to come. In my opinion, it will be interesting to see what "touches" the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce decide to give the most famous strip in all of Hollywood. Currently, the first major corporate sponsor for the endevour is Absolut Vodka who will be receiving a honorary star on the Walk of Fame, close to the Kodak Theatre. Sections of Hollywood Boulevard has made way for the creation of lofts. Is the "Hollywood Walk of Fame Makeover" just a coincidence or does it all fit in with the area's overall makeover? WHAT:
3rd Annual Los Angeles Fashion Awards presented by Saturn. This year’s style-packed awards show was hosted by Debbie Matenopoulos, the host of E’s “The Daily 10”, the top rated “Fashion Police” and Style Networks #1 show, “Instant Beauty Pageant.”

WHO:
Confirmed Presenters Included: designer Tarina Tarantino, vintage fashion experts Cameron Silver & Christos Garkinos of Decades/Decades Two, style editor Rose Apodaca, and "Project Runway" favorite alum, fashion designer Nick Verreos.

Nominees & Honorees Included:
Designers Max & Lubov Azria, Adriano Goldschmied, JC Obando, Jasmin Shokrian, Rami Kashou, Paula Thomas (Thomas Wylde), producer Heidi Klum and the creators of “Project Runway;” Retailers Fred Segal, Lisa Kline, Fraser Ross (Kitson) and Doris Raymond (The Way We Wore).
