Media direction is definitely changing every day. With Facebook, Myspace and others that are so popular (and free), it would be crazy for anyone to not take advantage of what is out there. Media is not just newspapers, TV, radio and magazines anymore. Online forums seem to reach so many more and are great avenues for getting it out there-- especially in such a challenging economy.
