Celebration of Global Fashion!

Fashion's Night Out sponsored by Vogue, CFDA and NYC & Company has drawn global interest. Fashionista's are wanting to know where they can buy the official "Fashion's Night Out" T-shirt and how they can get involve with the clothing drive. In Florida, I will have my own version of "Fashion's Night Out" this evening when I attend Clearwater Fashion Week to view the runway show that will highlight Craig Taylor; Kay Unger; Whitley Kros; Wren and Rebecca Minkoff just to name a few. 2008 CFDA/Vogue - - SSAFW LINK

As a Fashion Critic, I had a keen interest in the results of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards this past Monday due to the participation of South African born, Milliner, Albertus Swanepoel. I got to know about Swanepoel's design talent thru Sanlam SA Fashion Week (SSAFW) where Swanepoel lectured at SSAFW Arts & Craft Seminars for a number of years. Another highlight to Swanepoel's career is his inclusion to the "Runway to Change" fashion collaboration with Barack Obama where noted designers created apparel around the 2008 elections. Now days after the fact, let's see what the winner Alexander Wang and runner-ups Lisa Mayock, Sophie Buhai and Albertus Swanepoel will design given their new acquired fame. It's a wrap, V.
