Directives West, a trend forecaster and buying office in Los Angeles, hosted a “Time to Shine” fashion show on Friday, October 26 to a well attended fashionable audience at the California Market Center Patio. Amanda Luttrel Garrigus, former Editor-in-Chief, Angeleno and current E! Entertainment Correspondent opened the show which highlighted the launch of famed costume designer, Patricia Field’s debut runway collection.

Patricia Field is best known for her incredible wardrobe styling in “Sex in the City” and “The Devil Wears Prada”. Now we have the chance to see Field continue her creative flair by the debut of her “Barbie-inspired” designs that will be available at Macy’s stores for Spring 2008. According to Sandy Richman, Owner and Principal, Directives West, “the rich colors and fun attitude in Field’s fashions make this an exceptional debut collection. Patricia Field has brilliantly captured what Barbie is all about while keying into the trends of the season. Nothing else out there is this young-at-heart without being exclusively youth-centric”.

As part of the program, footwear designer, Steve Madden, showcased his latest in shoe collection with an all-new-collection of Steve Madden dresses. The evening was truly a “Time to Shine” in LA. Directives West is internationally recognized with over 25 years of experience and knowledge. For more information on the company, log onto http://www.directiveswest.com/
