Facebook and other social media networks now allow us the opportunity to network with a lot of people within our field of interest. Celebrity Photographer and Producer, Mark Valinsky, is one such person that I have had the pleasure to meet via social networking. Alongside his images of Halle Berry, Charlize Theron, Beyonce Knowles and Paris Hilton just to name a few, I have noticed a philanthropic aspect to his work on his Facebook page which led me to this "q & a" segment.

A: “I have always been interested in and dedicated to helping others. About a year ago I met Les LaMotte, Founder and Executive Director of his Sudan Hope Projects. I felt a kindred spirit to his mission as it relates to Sudan and improving the conditions of a country and people in need."

A: "The website www.sudanhope.org serves as a 24 hour, worldwide platform to become aware of our various humanitarian projects. It serves as a banner to the different ways in which others are able to learn about, share and support our projects."

A: "Your readers are welcome to e-mail me at Mark@sudanhope.org with any questions and willingness to contribute. People are encouraged to contribute thru book donations; medical equipment; food; clothing or financial contributions that will be applied to aiding the Sudanese people."

A: "Yes, indeed. We are presently moving forward on our documentary to raise awareness of the plight of the Sudanese people as well as a feature film called, Without A Voice. We will be that voice.
