LA Film Festival 2009: B & W Imaging?

A few weeks ago, the Los Angeles Film Festival was hosted in Westwood Village, Los Angeles from June 18 – 28th and with the end of Kodakchrome film, June 22 by Kodak, in my opinion it was only fitting that I ask the question about the use of black and white imaging in movies. According to Actor, Clement Von Franckenstein, who returned a few weeks ago from the 62nd Cannes Film Festival, “regarding the subject, my personal preference is sepia. Let’s not forgot the great movies like “Raging Bull” and “The Elephant Man” that were made in black and white”. So with the 250 features that showed during the LA Film Festival 2009, I wonder how many of those were shot in black and white. Hopefully, black and white imaging will still be around long after I’m gone. V.
